Alexandra Brown

Alexandra Brown is the founder of With a Splash, a Connecticut-based event bar service known for its elevated mocktails and interactive drink experiences. As a woman building a business in the traditionally alcohol-centric beverage industry, Alex is passionate about creating spaces where connection, creativity, and flavor come first; and where alcohol is always optional. Through her work, she aims to challenge the idea that meaningful social experiences need to revolve around drinking. Alex combines her background in hospitality, herbalism, and wellness to craft thoughtful beverages and experiences that bring people together in new ways. She is currently working toward opening a first-of-it’s-kind, craft mocktail lounge and writing a book that explores mindful drinking while shedding light on some of the harmful norms and pressures that exist within the beverage industry that she has dedicated her life to changing.
