's Story
My love of food started in my parent's cafeteria when I was 14. I had gotten suspended from school, and instead of letting me stay home, my dad made me get up at 4am to open the cafeteria with him. I fell in love with the heat of the grill, the chaos of a busy service, and the creative outlet that I hadn't had before.
From there, I worked in a few sandwich shops, butchers, and cafés until I decided I wanted to take my education to the next level. I attended and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and set upon the next leg of my culinary journey.
Since graduating, I've worked in dozens of restaurants, spanning a range of cuisines. From German and French, to BBQ, to Japanese and modern American, I've accumulated a strong foundation to be able to tackle any culinary challenge / goal that I'm faced with.
Over the last few years, I've been working on making many of my favorite meals as healthy as I possibly can as I go through my own fitness journey. Through careful regulation of my nutrition and exercise, I managed to lose 50 pounds and put on 15 pounds of muscle over the course of 6 months; eating really delicious food the entire time.
I want to be able to give people the chance to not only follow their nutrition/fitness goals, but do it in a way that they'll enjoy and look forward to their next meal, instead of the age-old dread of eating chicken, rice, and broccoli for the 5th time in a week.
